The Centre employs 7 full time members of staff, 12 part time members of staff and one freelance artistic director.
Keith Homer MA
Head of Centre
Keith has worked at RDC for almost 30 years as a teacher, director and workshop leader. Currently, as head of centre, he manages all the centre's work
Jonny Siddall
Drama Officer (teacher)
Jonny was previously Associate Director at Hampstead Theatre, Head of Drama Department in a high school and has worked at the Barbican Theatre and the Bush Theatre as assistant theatre manager and box office manager respectively. Jonny currently programmes the performances in the Lovegrove Theatre
Kate Tolson
Drama Officer (teacher)
Previously Head of Drama Department in a high school after working as an actress. Kate delivers workshop programmes both in school and at the Drama Centre and is currently the liaison officer between RDC and the Redbridge Drama Teachers Network
Dilly Rich
Finance and Box Office Manager
Dilly currently manages all the Centre's finances, the after school and week-end Children's Workshops and also manages the box office.
Chris Bocking
Drama Officer (technical)
Chris is responsible for hire and sales and the technical requirements of productions. In addition, Chris runs media and technical days in schools and at the Drama Centre. Chris is also the Centre's FOH Manager, Health and Safety Officer 9including EVC) and is the Designated Premises Supervisor.
Ben Ward
Drama Officer (technical)
Ben is responsible for hire and sales and the technical requirements of all productions. In addition Ben runs media and technical days in schools and at the Centre. Ben is also RDC's First Aid Officer
Terry Ward
Drama Officer (teacher)
Terry works part time delivering drama workshops in primary schools
Michael Woodwood (freelance)
Artistic Director - Vital Stages Theatre Company
Michael is an actor, writer and director, and along with Keith Homer, formed Vital Stages (the resident professional theatre company) in 1995. Vital Stages create many types of theatre and specialise in using theatre as a method of training in the workplace
Sandie Baker
Caretaker
Responsible for security, cleaning and is alsothe Drama Centre's First Aid Officer
Advisory Panel
The Drama Centre has an Advisory Panel made up of elected members, two Head Teachers and a student representative.
Cllr. Joyce Ryan
Cllr. Ryan is the chairman of the Drama Centre's Advisory Panel and supports all our work children, young people and theatre professionals
Student Committee
In addition there is a student committee and a student member on the Advisory Panel. The student committee organise various activities and are responsible for timetabling FOH and Bar rotas.
